đŸ”„ Campfire Commentary Vol. 1 –

Like the out-manned warriors of history who lit dozens of fires per warrior to make their enemies fearful in belief they were greater in number; today’s legacy media uses narrative flames to shape perception. Call it smoke and mirrors—only with clickbait and selective omission... These are my opinions on the subject matter of possibly unclean hands.

But that's for you to decide, the Independent thinker, the open minded...

Publications I once admired in my youth, like Rolling Stone, now appear to be flailing—gnashing their editorial teeth as they spiral into a projectionist demise. Here’s a gem from a recent Rolling Stone article, link opens in with separate tab:

‘Lives Are in Danger’ After a Trump Admin Spreadsheet Leak, Sources Say'

“Rolling Stone has agreed not to name these groups, given their leaders and staff justifiably fear retribution from Trump and his senior officials.”

Oh really? That’s why you won’t name names?
Not bias, not narrative control, not even the confidential information angle the story hinges on—just fear?
Hahaha—nice try.

This is where Campfire Commentary ignites. One match, one mind, drawing a line between strategic silence and performative journalism.

And speaking of lines—let’s draw one straight into the Treasure Trope of Publication Coffers.
How much taxpayer money has been circled back into legacy outlets under the guise of “supporting democracy” or “saving journalism”? Follow the trail—many watchdogs and transparency sites (like Doge) are making it clear. It’s public money funding a private narrative, and it needs to be called out.

As a centrist, and advocate for truth, I don’t lean left or right—I lean in. Toward facts. Toward accountability. Toward clarity.

Let this be Volume 1 of many. The campfire is lit. The commentary has begun.
